Chinese Assembly Halls in Hoi An
Listening to the Chinese history, in the 17th, there were military generals under the Ming dynast failing in the combat resisting Quing army. Some of them brought family went to Hoi An port to settle down there. They came from five main groups: Trieu Chau, Quang Dong, Phuc Kien, Hai Nam, Haka. Each group built their own assembly hall for their meetings and place of spiritual life of the community.
